OUR HISTORY

Committed to Making a Difference

In 2014, Co-Founder, Daniel Rosebud set out to make a difference in the lives of youth and young adults in the State of Georgia by providing programmatic insights, Total Quality Control/Management, and best practices for United Way of Greater Atlanta and its many youth service providers; tooling youth-serving organizations and their leadership teams within the five (5) major metro counties.

In 2019 as a Carolina Grant recipient, Rosebud launched The GRY Project as a Civic Engagement campaign. Funded as a named recipient of the Carolina Grant, Rosebud forged a partnership with national organizations like Opportunity Youth United and local partners like New Georgia Project from 2019 to 2021, creating innovative youth engagements statewide to draw out 18 - 29 year old young adults in the 2020 and 2021 Presidential and Senatorial race. 

 

The GRY Project expanded into Georgia Reconnecting Youth INC as a 501 (c) 3 to better address service gaps for all youth-led and or youth-serving organizations in Georgia and abroad -  services ultimately ensuring young adults of the community a chance to reach their fullest potential through increased access to resources, information, civic participation, leadership opportunities and quality support.

Founded in 2020, Georgia Reconnecting Youth INC. was established to advance the organizational capacity and capability of youth-serving and youth-led initiatives to address service gaps in disconnected rural and urban communities.

As a leading youth /young adult focus capacity building agency, we strive to inspire action and support our community’s young people with purposeful programming and devoted infrastructure for innovation.
